Good Enough Coaching
A season of Self-compassion
What if you’re already good enough?
What if, no matter how much you weigh, or how often you exercise, or what you eat or don’t eat, your feelings about your body aren’t really about you? What if that sense that you should be doing more, no matter how many items you check off your to do list or how many accomplishments you achieve, isn’t about you either?
I support a growing community of folks giving themselves permission to care about the mind and body they have now.
You may have signed up for coaching in the past and found that the coach offered a one-size-fits-all approach that didn’t fit you. Or maybe you’ve been burned by a coaching package that just reinforced hustle culture and hastened burnout. Even if you’ve explored mindfulness or self-compassion but haven’t made them a habit, I see you!
What if it doesn’t have to be that way?
What if you could believe that you don’t have to be different before you deserve kindness? What if I told you that mindfulness doesn’t have to be a chore? What if making change could actually be a pleasure?
I teach people how to integrate practices of self-compassion and mindfulness into their busy schedules, so that they can stop waiting for perfection and start fully inhabiting this life with this mind and body!
Are you ready to be kinder to the person you see in the mirror and give yourself permission to love your life? If so, apply now!
I have been coaching people through professional and personal changes over the last eight years and teaching mindfulness meditation with a body liberation lens for the last two. Over the course of a varied and purpose-driven professional life, I worked as a teacher, civil rights lawyer, career counselor, and judicial educator before then spending two years earning my mindfulness meditation teacher certification. I love working with clients who are ready to change their relationships with their bodies and minds to make more room for themselves in a life full of shoulds. I have done this work in my own life over the last decade and I know how transformative it can be.
This is for you IF
You want a partner to help you hold the space to get curious about what’s working in your life.
You’d like someone to share resources and personalized meditations to support you.
You’re ready to be as friendly to yourself as you are to the people you love.
This Isn’t For you if
You want someone to send you job postings—that’s not the sort of coaching I offer.
You are looking for coaching towards changing your weight or your body size.
You have an active eating disorder and do not have treatment in place—I can be a great addition to a team, but I am not an eating disorder professional.
“Elizabeth was supportive, patient, and gently challenged me with self-assessment and reflection exercises to help guide my next steps. She came prepared to each session, but let me lead when it came to what I wanted/needed to prioritize. She also followed up every session with additional thoughts, questions, resources, and suggestions.”
-J.D.
“I have worked with other coaches and while perhaps 'productive,' I can now see that the work was often superficial and obvious. In contrast my work with Elizabeth was truly transformative. “
-Meghan

“Elizabeth is a wonderful coach! She made such a huge difference in my life when I retired with a lot of trepidation and not knowing what I wanted to do next. She led me through a thorough process that helped me think through my priorities and goals, assisted me in remaining accountable to myself and worked with me as I experimented, learned and adapted my plans.”
